This year, close to 30,000 entrants and tens of thousands of spectators are here to see an expectedly tight elite men's race with a field including former marathon world record holder Wilson Kipsang of Kenya, who won 2018,s Tokyo Marathon, and Callum Hawkins, who recently set a new Scottish record over half-marathon distance.
