Joseph Margolyes was born in 1900 and grew up in the Gorbals. Back then it was a severely deprived area, and Miriam believes it was these early experiences of poverty that drove him to train as a GP. Miriam goes to a surgery in the east end of Glasgow that is part of a group called The Deep End, which helps people in the most deprived areas. Glasgow has the lowest life expectancy in the UK, and poverty still plays a huge part in health problems. Miriam meets some of the patients who are profoundly grateful for the health care they have received.
Miriam also talks to a group of pensioners in another part of the city, who remember what life was like before the EXT. They look at old government information films from the time and discuss how it felt for patients when the new service was launched. Miriam also travels north of Glasgow to find out how primary health care is delivered in some of the most remote areas in the UK. She travels to Lochgilphead to visit a GP-run clinic that works remotely with city-based consultants. Although the centre only contains GPs, they are able to offer A&E and even transfusions and chemotherapy. Miriam meets a man whose life was saved by the clinic and talks to one of the GPs, Adrian Ward, who helped create this innovative practice. Miriam also goes to visit the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service, who can fit an emergency operating theatre into a couple of rucksacks and a helicopter. The fast-paced connectivity of Snapchat and Instagram means the gang can sell up to £22,000 worth of cocaine in a couple of hours.
The only way for Stacey to meet the elusive digital dealers and find out more about their world is to go undercover. After decoding their secret emoji drug code, Stacey arranges MDMA deals and confronts the dealers. Young dealers show how opportunistic individuals operating online are overpopulating an already overcrowded market. But how they reach their client base is revolutionising the game and putting more and more street dealers out of business.
As the digital drug revolution gathers pace, it runs the risk of turning into an epidemic as Snapchat, Instagram and Yellow appear to be doing very little to quash this drug dealing haven.

18:00-20:00 Athletics:World Championships:London 2018:Day 7,Part 1.Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Great Britain's leading female distance runner Laura Muir are among the home athletes competing early on the evening of day seven of the London World Championships, introduced by Gabby Logan.
Muir, having already competed in the 1,500m, is joined in the 5,000m heats by compatriots Steph Twell and Eilish McColgan, while Johnson-Thompson attempts to reach the high jump final just four days after finishing the heptathlon.
It is also the qualifying phase of the men's javelin and the first round of the men's 800m.
